  • Security & Fraud Prevention: To verify accounts, monitor transactions, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or malicious activities on our platform.
  • Service Improvement: To analyze system usage and AI conversational logs, allowing us to improve Skeep's response accuracy, speed, and overall service performance.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Skeep operates in strict accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and applicable data protection laws. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, WhatsApp account details, conversational data, or transaction history to third parties, data brokers, or advertising agencies under any circumstances.

To operate Skeep efficiently, we must share specific, limited data with the third parties that help deliver our services. We enforce strict data minimization, meaning these partners only receive the exact information required to perform their specific function.

We share data with the following parties:

  • Delivery & Ride Partners (Riders): We share only your necessary logistics information—specifically your pickup location, drop-off destination, and contact name—so our assigned riders can fulfill your delivery or ride request accurately. Riders do not have access to your broader chat history or financial data.
  • Food Vendors & Restaurants: We share your specific food order details and first name with our restaurant partners so they can prepare your meal. Vendors do not receive your payment information, phone number, or delivery address.
  • Payment Processors: To securely handle your transactions, we share necessary billing details with our integrated, compliant payment gateways (such as Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe) to process your ride fares, food orders, and wallet top-ups.
  • Government & Legal Authorities: We may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulators, or government bodies only if we are legally required to do so to comply with an official mandate, enforce our terms of service, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Skeep and our users.

5. WhatsApp & Meta Disclosure

Skeep communicates with users through WhatsApp, a messaging service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Because our core service relies on this infrastructure, it is important to understand how your data interacts with Meta's systems.

When you message Skeep, your information is processed in accordance with both this Privacy Policy and WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. While Skeep secures and manages your order and logistics data on our own servers, the routing of your messages passes through Meta's platform.

6. Data Retention & Security

We retain your personal information only for as long as your Skeep account is active or as needed to provide you with our food, ride, and logistics services.

  • Active Accounts: Chat logs, wallet balances, and order histories are kept to facilitate fast re-ordering, AI contextual accuracy, and ongoing customer support.
  • Legal & Tax Obligations: Transaction data (such as ride fares and food payments) may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable tax, accounting, and commercial laws.
  • Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (such as the NDPR or GDPR) to access, correct, or erase your personal data.

How to Request Data Deletion

In accordance with Meta's Platform Terms, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your Skeep profile, chat history, and associated data. You can initiate this process at any time through the following methods:

  1. Via WhatsApp (Automated): Send the message "Delete My Data" directly to the Skeep WhatsApp bot. Our system will confirm your request and begin the deletion process.
  2. Via Email: Send an email to support@skeep.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". You must include the phone number associated with your WhatsApp account so we can locate your records.

Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete or anonymize your personal data within 7 to 14 business days, except for any transaction records we are legally required to retain.

We take the protection of your personal information seriously. To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your data, Skeep implements a robust set of technical and organizational security measures:
